Handicap International UK Dear Mr Reece It is with great pleasure that I would like to invite the members of your photographic society to take part in Handicap International UK’s photo competition. Disability Inside Out is a photo competition that anyone with or without a disability can enter. It gives amateur photographers the opportunity to challenge the representation of disability or actually to discover more about disability and disabled people. The competition is open to amateur photographers over 16 in the UK and Channel Islands. Handicap International is an international charity working with disabled people in over 55 countries worldwide. We work mainly in the fields of disability prevention, rehabilitation, inclusion of disabled people and capacity building of local and national associations. We provide both emergency relief and long term development support. Please find attached a document explaining what the competition is about. Great prizes are offered to the top three photographers. The document also includes the entry form and the consent form. I would be really grateful if you could forward this email to your members or talk about the photo competition during any meeting you may attend.
